Making plans

Our allotment society seed catalogue arrived on my door step two weeks ago, as usual, full of promise.
Now into my sixth year as an allotmenteer I am more cautious with my seed orders, choosing only those I know I'll have the time to nuture and tend... so courgettes, beans and potatoes it is then!

It's all looking ship shape...

For the first time I have made use of the mild autumnal temperatures to get ahead. Beds have been dug over ready for Spring planting and I've lined one of my builders pallet compost bins in the hope that things will rot down a little quicker than in previous years.

Just need to persuade James to come out with the strimmer. Easier said than done!
